Shervin Mirhashemi was named president and COO of Legends Sports Entertainment, which is partially owned by the Dallas Cowboys.
Legends Sports Entertainment, which is partially owned by the Dallas Cowboys, has made a major hire by naming AEG President of Global Partnerships Shervin Mirhashemi president and COO.
Mirhashemi is one of the top sports and entertainment executives in the world and his business knowledge and leadership skills will fit well with the sports entertainment company, said Dave Checketts, chairman and CEO of Legends, which is owned by the Cowboys, New York Yankees and the Checketts Partners Investor Fund.
Mirhashemi will open up the Legends Los Angeles office and oversee the firm's day-to-day operations and growth strategy.
In a written statement, Dallas Cowboys COO Stephen Jones said, "The ability to add someone like Shervin to Legends is an opportunity that was hard for the company to pass up. He will make an immediate impact growing the company's core businesses while simultaneously beginning to explore new expansion opportunities."
