Question by neato1975: Online real estate contracts?
We are planning to buy a home without a realtor. We approached the owner about selling as he is an acquaintance of friends and the house wasn?t on the market. There are so many websites with real estate contracts, some free, others not and I am not sure of which to go with? Should I look for a state specific site? Any guidance would be appreciated. I do not entirely trust the guy?if that makes any difference!
Going to an attorney is not a good option at this point as we want to get something in writing asap and do not want to pay an attorney in the event this guy changes his mind.
An inspection has been done.
I don?t know why I didn?t think to ask the realtor who is selling our house. He sent me a FSBO packet with contracts from the title company we plan to use. He is also an attorney and is going to look over the contract for us. Thanks!!!

Using a Realtor as a buyer is free unless you contract with them for a fee. I don?t advise anyone who does not understand the legalities of real estate to sign any contract to purchase or sale without professional advise. I?m sure you could find a local Broker who would for a fee, write the contract for you. If you?re in Minneapolis, I will do this for you. email me at 3dhometeam@gmail.com. I also strongly urge you to spend the money to have an inspection done. There could be unseen issues that could cost you thousands to fix later on. Hope I have been helpful
